The multilayer PEX-Al-PEX SUPERPLUS pipe belonging to the Multypexalfa line consists of 5 layers: the two PExb layers (inner and outer) are bonded to the aluminium intermediate layer by means of two stabilised polymer bonding layers. The thickened aluminium layer provides an oxygen barrier, reduces the effects of linear thermal expansion and gives the tube dimensional stability and very high flexural strength. The internal material (PEXb) provides resistance to high temperatures under pressure while maintaining the potability characteristics of the water.
The black PE outer layer provides high UV resistance, making it usable in applications outside buildings. Produced in rolls of different sizes, it is widely used in compressed air systems, marine and industrial plants.
