The multilayer PEX-Al-PEX THERMO PLUS pipe belonging to the Multypexalfa line consists of 5 layers: the two PExb layers (inner and outer) are bonded to the aluminium intermediate layer by means of two stabilised polymer bonding layers. The thickened aluminium layer provides an oxygen barrier, reduces the effects of linear thermal expansion and gives the tube dimensional stability and very high flexural strength. The internal material (PEXb) provides resistance to high temperatures under pressure while maintaining the potability characteristics of the water.
The insulating sheath is made of polyethylene (PE-LD) with a red outer film (helps to identify the transport of hot water) made of scratch-resistant PE. Ideal for heating systems, sanitary installations, naval and industrial plants.
