The PEX-Al-PEX PROTEK multilayer pipe belonging to the Multypexalfa line consists of 5 layers: the two PExb layers (inner and outer) are bonded to the aluminium intermediate layer by means of two stabilised polymer bonding layers. The aluminium layer provides an oxygen barrier, reduces linear thermal expansion effects and gives the tube dimensional stability and flexural strength. The internal material (PEXb) provides resistance to high temperatures under pressure while maintaining the potability characteristics of the water.

The corrugated sheath is made of blue PPB and provides strong protection for the internal pipe in the case of complex working conditions and undercutting installations where the screed is not immediately available. Ideal for heating systems, sanitary installations, naval and industrial plants.
