The PEX-Al-PEX multilayer pipe in bars belonging to the Multypexalfa line consists of 5 layers: the two PExb layers (inner and outer) are bonded to the aluminium intermediate layer by two stabilised polymer binder layers. The aluminium layer provides an oxygen barrier, reduces linear thermal expansion effects and gives the tube dimensional stability and flexural strength. The internal material (PEXb) provides resistance to high temperatures under pressure while maintaining the potability characteristics of the water.
Produced in 4 metre rigid bars, it simplifies work in compressed air systems, naval, industrial, and sanitary and heating installations.
