Alfaidro‘s multilayer pipe (UV RESISTANT SDR 11) consists of a black UV-stabilised PP-R outer layer and guarantees more than 15 years of resistance to ageing caused by UV radiation. The glass-fibre-reinforced interlayer reduces linear thermal expansion by approximately 75 per cent compared to single-layer pipes, which translates into fewer brackets (-30 per cent) and therefore less installation time and costs. The inner and outer layers are made from PP-R 100, which boasts high heat and pressure resistance, along with excellent chemical resistance.
Due to its increased dimensional stability, ease of installation (no stripping required before socket welding) and outer layer UV resistant, Alfaidro’s UV RESISTANT SDR 11 multilayer pipe is ideal for installation on the outside of buildings and is suitable for irrigation, heating, air conditioning, compressed air, glycol transport, on means of transport and in civil and industrial installations.
