The Alfaidro Multilayer Pipe (FASER SDR 11) represents the evolution of single-layer pipes, as the advantages of traditional PP-R pipes are combined with those of the glass fibre intermediate layer, which gives the pipes greater dimensional stability. In fact, one of the main advantages of Alfaidro Faser pipes is the reduction in linear thermal expansion compared to single-layer pipes (approx. -75%), which translates into a reduced amount of brackets (-30%) and therefore less installation time and costs.
The inner and outer layers are made from PP-R 100, which boasts high heat and pressure resistance, along with excellent chemical resistance. The multilayer pipe (FASER SDR 11) is particularly suitable for hydronic heating and cooling systems, compressed air systems and various industrial applications. In addition, it can be fitted with the full range of Alfaidro fittings, using traditional socket welding and electro-welding techniques.
