The monolayer PP-RCT SDR 7.4 Alfaidro pipe is made from PP-RCT 125 and represents the latest generation of pipes, characterised by an increased resistance to high temperatures over the long term. This allows the same mechanical properties with a lower thickness than PP-R, thus lower weight, higher flow rate and lower pressure drop.
Due to its low thermal conductivity, it minimises leakage and thus the thickness of the insulation layer. Connections are made by socket welding, butt welding or electro-welding, resulting in a single element that guarantees zero water loss.
The simplicity of installation makes the monolayer PP-RCT SDR 7.4 Alfaidro pipe ideal for plumbing, heatingand air conditioning, compressed air systems in both civil and industrial buildings and on means of transport; the pipe can be installed either loose or underneath the trench.
