Monolayer PP-R SDR 5 Alfaidro pipe made of random polypropylene (PP-R 100) with an opaque colour that prevents light from entering and hinders microbiological growth in the transported water, making it ideal for transporting drinking water.
PP-R 100 boasts high heat and pressure resistance, along with excellent chemical resistance. Due to its low thermal conductivity, it minimises leakage and thus the thickness of the insulation layer. Connections are made by socket welding, butt welding or electro-welding, resulting in a single element that guarantees zero water loss.
The simplicity of assembly makes Alfaidro’s monolayer PP-R SDR 5 pipe ideal for civil and industrial plumbing, irrigation and compressed air systems; the pipe can be installed either loose or under trace.
