The Male – Female Reducing Threaded Socket is designed for threaded connections from ø ½” to 4″ in hydraulic applications related to the distribution of pressurised fluids in irrigation and waterworks systems. The M-F reducing socket, made of black, UV-stabilised high-impact PP, has two different threads (male on one side and female on the other) BSP (GAS) and is designed and tested to ensure a working pressure PN16: fitted with central hexagon for easy gripping and metal reinforcement ring in diameters 2½ to 4″.
In particular, it is used in drinking water transport systems in aqueducts and civil installations, in irrigation and gardening, geothermal systems, and for conveying wastewater and industrial water.

REINFORCING RING:
The presence of the reinforcement ring in couplings with female threads provides an additional guarantee in terms of resistance to operating pressures, especially at high temperatures and in the long term.
