ALFAIDRO NO FIRE is the innovation in fire fighting as it is the alternative to metal piping for its easy installation, no corrosion and no sprinkler clogging, no leaks at the joints, time and cost saving for piping maintenance.

Alfaidro NOFIRE system includes the Faser pipe, made of PP-RCT reinforced by an intermediate layer of special fibers, and PP-RCT fittings designed for use in wet pipe automatic sprinkler systems.

The system is suitable to:

- Light Hazard and Ordinary Hazard occupancies according to EN 12845 (class B, S1, d0)

- Light Hazard occupancies within NFPA 13, 13R or 13D

- HC-1 occupancies according FM Approval Class 1635

The installation by fusion welding is simple and quick and does not require the use of sealants, gaskets or adhesives.

Alfaidro NOFIRE has obtained the important FM Approval issued after rigorous tests and audit and representing an important recognition for the product safety and reliability.




The installation by fusion welding is simple, quick and reliable and  does not require the use of sealants, gaskets or adhesives. This kind of installation assures no weaknesses or leaks at the joints that increase the maintenance costs in metallic piping.

The complete range of pipes, fittings, ALFARAPID joints (Victaulic type), flange and accessories, allows the sprinkler piping installation both exposed and unexposed.

Transition fittings (threaded, flanged and grooved) allow the connection to existing metallic piping.

The saddles welding allows to modify the main piping, even after installation, making easy and economical to add branch line, sprinkler, etc.-



The metal pipes are affected by internal and external corrosion, both of which can compromise the fire-fighting system and continuous maintenance operations are required to assure the correct functioning of the system. PPR is chemically inert and so Alfaidro NOFIRE is lifetime guaranteed against corrosion, as there is no accumulation of particles coming from corrosion (such as rust) and consequently no clogging of sprinkler.

Reduced weightof about 70% compared to metal pipes, this results in easy handling during installation, reduced costs for transport and structural works bearing its weight.

Alfaidro NOFIRE offers high soundproofing and thermal insulation, high impact resistance, low roughness factor and high abrasion resistance.

The material used to produce ALFAIDRO NOFIRE SYSTEM is fully recyclable and environmental friendly complying to LEED STANDARDS. It has lower carbon footprint compared to metal systems (greenhouse gas emissions are reduced of about 5 times).

Alfaidro NOFIRE contains no CPVC, PVC or chemicals that can release hydrochloric gases or dioxins that are known to be carcinogens when burned. Moreover the smoke produced when it burns is not toxic or dangerous for people and animals.

Alfaidro NOFIRE has passed rigorous tests of resistance to fire prescribed by the standards for classification of construction products and has obtained:

-      Class B1 according to DIN 4102-1 and AbP certificate, as flame-retardant building material.

-      Class B, s1, d0 according to EN 13501-1
